Training focused on leadership, 42A MOS skills, and techniques at the Middle Management Level. Course prepares NCOs to supervise specific personnel functions at the battalion and higher levels, in a small Human Resources Office, and Human Resources service support activity. Leaders are able to advise the commander on personnel readiness and strength levels of reporting units; review reports, statistics, applications, and prepare recommendations for personnel actions to higher headquarters. Program of instruction is to perform the duties and execute the responsibilities of NCOs using the small group instruction approach. Emphasis placed on battle focused training, troop leading procedures, counseling, equal opportunity, physical fitness training and war fighting skills as an individual and as a team. Graduated with a 92% GPA.
Provides training in the use of regulatory documents for the transportation of hazardous materials. Areas of particular study include classification, shipping papers, marking and labeling, placarding, compatibility, as well as containers authorized for packaging of hazardous materials.
Training focused on basic principles related to Noncommissioned Officers leadership and responsibilities. This course focused on introductory material that is vital for enhancing basic communication skills, personal leadership responsibilities, training management, and resource management. It also influences on leadership characteristics, ethics, problem solving, styles of leadership, individual motivation, personal counseling, and the exercise of authority. Substantial attention is placed on teaching and leading personnel in a squad/section-sized field based environment. Received a first time “GO” on land navigation and all examinations.

Fort Jackson, SC Training focused on the following topics: weapons operating systems, duties of the armorer, inspection policies and standards, firearms safety, marksmanship principles and techniques, weapons operating techniques, care and use of tools, the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS), physical security, arms room OPSEC, small arms disassembly and inspection, troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Training focused on enforcing policies and procedures on maintaining a pollution free environment and workplace. Training concepts included proper handling of environmentally hazardous materials, procedures for containing spills, and procedures to implement environmental policies within an organization.
Initial MOS training which taught core skills in MOS 42A. Introduced essential knowledge required to process and maintain Personnel Status Reports, personnel actions, reassignments, personnel records, suspension of favorable personnel actions, evaluations, and eMILPO actions. Provided background in use of automated systems. Graduated with Honors and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement and APFT Badge for scoring 300 on the APFT.

Responsible for personnel actions, Strength management, personnel requisitions, command sponsorship and assignments of over 1,300 Soldiers. Advises the Brigade CSM on the cross-leveling of enlisted Soldiers. Monitors gains and losses ensuring all units remain at operational strength. Responsible for the professional growth and welfare of 5 NCOs and 10 Soldiers.
Accomplishments: Received Certificate of Achievement for exceptional performance during the Eighth United States Army exercise Ulchi Freedom Guardian.
Duties: Served as a Personnel SGT and Battalion S-1 NCOIC for a Battalion of over 300 Soldiers. Responsible for transition to Personnel Service Delivery Redesign (PSDR), Awards, Enlisted Promotions, eMILPO transactions, Personnel Management, USR, UMR, DTAS, Suspensions of Favorable Personnel Actions, Evaluations, the Army Wide Personnel Asset Inventory, Records Maintenance, PERSTEMPO, Sponsorship, Leaves, Command Inspection Program, and property valued over $200,000. Supervised one Soldier, two NCOs and three civilian contractors.
Accomplishments: Promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant in secondary zone with only four years and one month time in service. Won Battalion NCO of the Quarter for two consecutive quarters and was also selected as the Battalion NCO of the year. Received numerous Certificates of Achievement for scoring 300 on APFTs.

APO AP 96271, Korea Duties: Served as eMILPO, Installation In/Out processing, Reassignments, and Officer Records NCOIC. Responsible for Personnel Operations, Reassignment Orders, Officer Records, DD Form 93’s, SGLV’s, Army Wide Personnel Asset Inventories, eMILPO Transactions for over 10,000 service members, families, and civilians. Accounted for property and equipment valued over $800,000. Responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and transfer of over eighty weapons as detachment armorer. Other duties included Safety NCO. Supervised 10 Soldiers, 5 NCOs and 6 civilian contractors.
Accomplishments: Promoted to the rank of Sergeant in secondary zone. Won Battalion NCO of the Quarter and selected by the Battalion CSM to represent the Battalion for the Adjutant General NCO of the Year board. Supervised and coached one Soldier to win Battalion Soldier of the Quarter. Awarded an impact AAM for an annual Battalion FTX. Also awarded an Impact AAM for consistently scoring 300 on APFTs. Over three of my peers, I was selected to serve as Platoon Sergeant for over nine months.

Responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining reassignment orders and packets, updating DD Form 93’s, SGLV’s, overdue Army Good Conduct Medals, the integration and transferring of personnel records, and orientation of all service members arriving to, and departing Area III.
Accomplishments: Awarded an impact AAM for performance as part of a Quick Reaction Force team during an annual Battalion FTX. Received numerous Certificates of Achievement for scoring 300 on APFTs and a Certificate of Achievement for excellent performance during the Battalion Squad Stakes Competition. As a junior Soldier I was selected by the Detachment Human Resources Technician to serve as the NCOIC for the In/Out processing section for work ethic and leadership potential.
SUMMARY:
I am fully capable and qualified to be a Human Resources Technician because of my true professionalism, knowledge, leadership, and determination. I am technically and tactically proficient, capable of tackling any assigned tasks. At every assignment I led by example and set the standard. I have attained all my promotions below the zone and have been awarded numerous impact awards which stands as a testament to my hard work, dedication to Soldiers and mission accomplishment. I am a strong believer that everyone has something different to offer and bring to the table; I will use their input as a learning tool, whether it is from my seniors, peers, or subordinates. I am a great team member and an even better team builder. Taking care of Soldiers and mission accomplishment will always be my top priorities. I enthusiastically look forward to the duties and challenges of being part of the Warrant Officer Corps.
