He struggled through his voice problems his embarrassment and his uncertainty. The late 1990’s were busy for usher he recorded albums contributed songs to movie sound tracks and an Olympic tribute album recorded holiday commercials for coke, and went on his first tour. Oh, and he graduated from high school, too. In 1996 usher had the chance to work with another of hip hop’s superstar producers and writes Jermaine dupri (shown here with usher in 2004). Jermaine songs finally brought usher success he had worked for since childhood. Usher toured for the first time in 1997.A choreographer worked with him to polish his dancing and he opened for puff daddy Mary j. bilge, and Janet Jackson.
