----------------------

In our daily life, the ways of communicating information are increasing variety. Someone like reading books but others like using multimedia to digest information, such as through TV programs or films. All of them have both advantages and disadvantages for our lives.

In fact, books are an enormous treasure of knowledge. They contains all basis information that human needs. Books teach us not only some simple advices like how important of brushing our teeth everyday but they also help us to understand things that are extremely great like why the Earth moves around the Sun. Books appears everywhere, at library or bookstore, and we can read them anytime we like. However, it has some disadvantages because of lacking pictures that make reader feel boring when they are reading. Books are full of words so it requires people should be a patient person to read them all.

Consequently, books are always not attractive for children or younger people. So, television and films are the most suitable to those kinds of people. TV programs and films carry much of information with a lot of animated pictures, full sound and interesting knowledge that make people easy understanding the messages which the program or films need to transmit to their viewers. Unfortunately, the information in TV and films are not always true. Sometime, TV or films may show the depraved pictures and bad information that affect badly to children and make their thinking getting lost. The people who have been watching TV and films too much can also lead to serious problems. They may lose their communicating skills and fell difficult when talking to other people.

In conclusion, from my own experiences, training the patience in reading books and understanding

Without books we wouldn’t know what happened back then or read autobiographies of what was happening during Slavery, Holocaust, WWI, WWII, and many more historical events that occurred long ago. For example, when Montag went to Faber about books and Faber told him how books tell the truth about life and expressions from the writer,…

Imagination does not always involve dealing with realistic feelings or reading books and having to understand ideas in an intellectual way. Imagination does not need to be taken seriously; intelligence, on the other hand, should be taken seriously. Giving a child a book will test his reading and literacy skills. Putting a child in front of a 20/20 broadcast will confuse him. Reading books are meant for learning, not to expand one’s imagination. It is only an excessive amount of television entertainment that will truly damage a child’s intellect. Adults, however, understand both how to read and the difference between reality and fantasy worlds and the effects television has on their intelligence.…

Books can be interpreted many ways, which is one of the reasons why books can be used for good or bad. Take religious books, such as the Bible, for example.…

First of all, I would like to compare two ways of broadcasting information, namely TV and books. In my opinion, books are much more useful than Tv is and I believe there are several reasons to sustain this. One argument is that Tv addresses the large public and ussually transmits information that catches the eye of the audience, with themes such as violence, erotism, politics and humuour. Another argument would be that we usually don't know what we are going to watch when we turn on the Tv. On the contrary, we usually read a book that has been recommended to us. Thus, there are more chances to find interesting things in a book that was first read by a trustful friend than they are when we watck Tv.…

The poet Robert Southey has beautifully called books his never failing friends with whom he converses day by day. Books are true friends they can be by our side in whatever mood we are. They enlighten, give knowledge, entertain and inform us. Books are written with experienced people so we learn from their lives. We can carry books with us when we travel. They are our constant companions. when we are tired of reading we can close them, we can even read them at midnight. They fill our minds and hearts with hope and joy. Unlike human friends they never deceive or betray us. Books have inspired people through the ages. The first book of the Aryan called the Rig-Veda has a lot for us to learn and understand even after 3000 years. Books like the Ramayana and Mahabharata are relevant in modern times and teach people the ways of life. Writers like Gandhi have put forward to us their life on a platter to understand their goals and teachings.…
