Vacation
I think everyone should have their own unforgettable experience in their life. Today, I would like to talk about an unforgettable experience during my last school holidays’ vacation in
Pangkor Laut Resort.
During my last school holidays, I got the opportunity to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. This resort has privately owned the island of Pangkor Laut and it is located in
Perak.
We left our house at 8 o’clock in the morning. After 3 hours of journey, we have reached the Lumut jetty. The staffs were so friendly and helpful for helping us to carry our luggage into the ferry. After 30 minutes journey, we have reached the Pangkor Laut island. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The staffs in the resort are always ready to help us if we need any information.
Our rooms are located at the top of the hill. It has a nice view of the sea. The rooms are spacious for us to rest and sleep and have a large balcony. This island has a white sandy beach, called Emerald Bay. It is awarded as “One of the World's Top Ten Beaches”.
Besides that, there are Asian and Western restaurants for us to choose for our daily meal. The seafood is so fresh and nice. Of course, the price is very expensive too.
There are many activities organised by the staff, like jungle trekking, fishing and snorkelling. We joined the jungle trekking group which is guided by the experienced staff. We found many species of flora and fauna in the beautiful rain forest. Besides that, we also
join for snorkeling. We saw many beautiful corals and fishes under the sea.
In conclusion, this island is really a great place for us to unwind ourselves due to hustle and bustle of city life. I wish I could go to this island again in the future because it has given me a very nice experience.
