Master of Ceremony, Guest Speaker, Principal, Teachers, House Parents, other Members of Staff, Special Guests, Fellow Graduates and Students Good Morning. I must first and foremost thank God for His blessing and honour to stand before you today as valedictorian of the class of 2011.
Our time here at St. Andrew will forever be embedded in our hearts. The opportunities I was given in the classroom will certainly contribute to my growth as a student. Opportunities that have strengthened me and will allow me to gain invaluable experience It was here under the guidance of our supportive teachers and house parents that we have reach this far. I would like to express a heartfelt thank you to our teachers and of course Miss Martin, Pastor Williams and Uncle Phillip for their support patience and guidance throughout the years.
On behalf of my fellow graduates I would like to thank every member of staff especially our house parents for sharing their knowledge and for serving as mentor. We are honoured to have you as our caregivers; this moment would not have been possible for each of us without your strong support. I must say thanks for the contribution you have made in our lives. We have each found a home here at St. Andrew, one filled with supportive and caring mothers, one filled with diversities and activities to accommodate an array of interest and a sense of community base on generosity and respect. Here, we were pushed to discover and challenge our abilities, interest and even our identities.
My fellow graduates, I would like to leave with you these thoughts, nothing is ever handed to you in life. The accomplishment of your dreams and goals is only possible through determination, dedication, passion and effort.
