Introduction
Do you know the meaning and where Ringgit Malaysia come from? The Ringgit Malaysia is the currency of Malaysia.Besides,the ringgit is issued by the Bank Negara Malaysia and these Ringgit Malaysia is important for ours who stay in Malaysia because we will use it every day including the household, firm, foreign sector ,government and others to buy the goods and services that we wanted .So today,I am going to give three pointers to explain the Ringgit Malaysia.

i) Firstly,I want to briefly explain the Ringgit Malaysia.
A. Ringgit is the word taken from the Malay language that means, "jagged" or "anything that has rough or uneven surface" and is the name given to the currency of Malaysia.
B. The Malaysian ringgit, as it is called, was introduced in 1967 with the name "Malaysian dollar" and "cent" in English language and "ringgit" and "sen" in Malay language as the official monetary units.
ii) Secondly,I want to talk about the history of the Ringgit Malaysia
A. Malaysia has a long, deep and complex history in context of the currencies that were used as a medium of exchange in the country as it had been ruled by numerous rulers that had their own currencies.
B. Till 1837, Spanish silver dollars were accepted as the legal tender in the country but from then onwards it changed over to the Indian rupee.
C. The sign that was used for the new currency remained the same even after change of name of the currency. "RM" as the Malaysian ringgit symbol replaced the dollar symbol in as late as in 1990s.
iii) Thirdly,I want to talk about the value of Ringgit Malaysia today.
A. Today the Malaysian Riggit has fallen to a very low level of worth and can no longer recover its comparative foreign exchange value.
B. Malaysia has the policy of "Non Internationalization" of the Ringgit, whereby the Ringgit is not being traded outside Malaysia.
