Introduction:
I. Attention grabber- Imagine every person in New York City was a cat or a dog that’s about as many pets will be put in shelters this year.
II. Ethos- Veterinarian’s highly recommend to get your animal neutered to prevent overpopulation occurring.
III. Claim Statement- Goal of Pet smart Charities is to find a lifelong, loving home for every pet.
Preview Transition: Now that we understand the goal of Pet smart charities, consider this problem.
Body:
Main Point I
1: Pet homelessness and overpopulation is a huge problem in today’s society without help from everyone.
A. Pet homelessness outweighs human homelessness 10 to 1.
B. 8 million pets will be put into shelters in the North America.
C. Out of the 8 million pets half of the amount of them will have to be euthanized, losing about 11,000 pets per day.
D. The main cause of the pet homelessness and overpopulation is from people not adopting and or getting there animals neutered to prevent unneeded litters.
Internal Summary: To summarize briefly what was just said about the problems of pet homelessness.

Solution: Adoption, spraying/neutering, volunteering, and donating.
Conclusion:
Sum up: In conclusion there are many things we can do to help with the overwhelming animal homelessness problem all it takes is giving an animal a home, getting your animal sprayed or neutered, volunteering your time to animal shelters, or donating to your local petsmart store.
