Valuing Truth In The Crucible By Arthur Miller
Salem today isn’t how it used to be in the past. Arthur Miller is the author of the story The Crucible. The Crucible takes place during the year of 1692 in Salem Massachusetts a small Puritan community. During the year of 1692 people were accused of sending their spirits out onto other people and being associated with the Devil. This caused the court and revered Hale to come and visit the town of Salem. The different acts in the play have different aspects of the story line that show Arthur Miller’s value of truth. Arthur Miller says that valuing truth is important because it creates an aspect of respect among everyone.
