Though we have practiced Animal Agriculture for many years, it is no longer like Old
McDonald’s farm, the one we were told about as children It has now grown to industrial factory farms that mass kill animals that have been abused to the point of never really living their innocent lives just to put the hamburger on your plate. Only 2%5% of the population acts for this, and those people are called vegans.
Veganism is beneficial because it provides not only enviormental benefits
, but a halt to at least some of the horrible treatment to animals;

Raising, killing, and eating meat is one of the most unhealthy things that one can do to their body, and the earth. For example, societies carbon footprint. Cars, planes, trains, boats, buses, and any other gas or coal powered transportation you can think of cause about 13% of greenhouse gasses, whereas animal agriculture causes about 51% of greenhouse gasses. Not only is animal agriculture polluting the air, but it is polluting our waters as well. All of the waste from those animals has to go somewhere. Animals’ waste is thrown into giant lakes that are made completely of watered down feces if they are not forced to live in their own waste. These lakes often overflow into nearby fields or ponds. Another example of how bad it is for the Earth is water consumption. It takes about 2,400 gallons of water to produce 1lbs. of meat, whereas it
