Verbal Communication Speech
Verbal communication is an exchange between two persons with a symbolic language that can leads to miscommunication, misunderstanding, and disappointment in one another. People use verbal communication in their daily life as a normal communication language. When a person tries to explain a concept to someone, it will always turn out of miscommunication: “misperceiving the thoughts, feelings, or beliefs expressed in another’s verbal communication,” the receiver would have interpreted it in different way as when you use the term “you” in the sentence. There are many ways that things can be interpreted wrong and inappropriate, cause to one another getting upset or insecure about oneself.

She said, “Hi my name is Wendy, nice to meet you,” with a gentle and sweet smile. I took a seat, and I reply, “I am Tien, nice to meet you too,” she was one of the most opened and kindhearted person I ‘had ever known. We became best friend throughout the semester, but our communication was lacking towards the end of the semester because our teacher changed our seat and now we sat away from one another. We were talking on the phone one night, Wendy and I were planning on going to the beach and bond with each other because we don’t talk as much as we used too anymore. Wendy and I both agreed to arrive at 3:00pm at Mission Bay Beach, I decided to arrive to Mission Bay Beach 30 minutes earlier than the time we decided. I was irritated because I have to waited 30 minutes for Wendy and her sister to be presented. Eventually, I ended up calling Wendy, she was driving at this time. Unfortunately, I have to wait an extra hour for Wendy and her sister to come, but I stood up and hung up the phone, I could not have stayed because I was a bit too upset. When I got home, we ended up not talking for a day or two. Wendy was mad at me because when she arrived, she didn’t see me. Also, she got into an accident because she wanted to see me. On the 3rd day, she explained to me that she got into an accident while driving to the beach, so she couldn’t make it on time. After all, we apologized to each other and
