Vernice Target Audience
The introducer read from a manuscript. It does seem flat at times but it’s mainly due to the long lists of accomplishments that Vernice had acquired. It can even be heard in her voice the amazement of the accomplishments. The introducer makes sure that every chance she gets she makes eye contact with the audience. At one point she even adds in a personal comment that makes the audience laugh and isn’t negative. As for Vernice, the first thing she does is goes through the audience and high fives them. I’d say that is quite an audience centered start. It can be heard in her voice that she is excited to be up there and that she has her entire heart into the message. Plus, she’s throwing smiles everywhere. She interacts more with the audience throughout

The speaker, Regina Glover, gave an informative Speech about the history, significance, and aesthetics of AfriCobra. The content of her speech was well developed, in how she choose to organize it. It was clever for her to give a brief history first so that the audience could have a glimpse of how AfriCobra began. To present the significance of AfriCobra second was also smart, because the audience would have wanted to know the overall purpose of the art, which made Regina’s speech and the art itself more meaningful. When she presented the aesthetics of AfriCobra last, it allowed the audience to learn the style of the art, therefore adding interest to her topic.…

As President, Andrew Jackson worked to pull apart the Second Bank of the United States. The original Bank of the United States had been introduced in 1791 by Alexander Hamilton as a way of organizing the federal government's finances. This first Bank became invalid in 1811. It was followed by the second Bank, put together by James Madison in 1816 to reduce the economic problems caused by the War of 1812. Both Banks were involved in the growth of the U.S. economy, but President Jackson did not approve of the concept on ideal grounds. In President Jackson's opinion, the Bank needed to be abolished because it was unconstitutional. It also concentrated an excessive amount of the nation's financial strength. It exposed the government to control by foreign interests. It put too much control over members of the U.S. Congress. It favored northeastern states over southern and western states. President Jackson's opposition to the Bank was evident as a strong personal dislike.…

Mrs. Martins had the skills and ability to captivate his audience attention by supporting her speech with several examples. She emphasized on the causes of ill health issues many people, especially, older people encounter as they age, as well as the difficulties their family members faces. Her story captured many of the audience, including me. Also, many the audience was in shock of a video she showed off a nurse brutally maltreating an elderly person, I must say that part got most of the audience to shared tears. This part of her speech was the best. Furthermore, Mrs. Christiana did an excellent job by keeping her address on track and I was so proud of her. She gave a great speech, there was nothing more anyone could have expected. However, Even though, Mrs. Martin’s speech was excellent, the only tricky part was that her speech lasted very long, the program was supposed to end at 5oclock, but it finally ended at 7oclock pm. From the look on people’s faces, you could see that they were feeling exhausted. However, there were plenty of food, drinks and gifts served. Therefore, people never left with an empty…

As a general rule, I dislike watching myself present a speech. I find that it rarely lives up to the high standards I traditionally hold for myself and it makes me blush to watch me blunder about. However, after watching the introductory speech I was pleasantly surprised. Although it was not particularly strong, it was much better than I had originally anticipated it to be.…
