Veterinary Career Aspirations
At the moment, I would like to be a companion veterinarian but my aspirations may change based on the exposure at DelVal. My intended major in animal science will help me achieve my goal of being a veterinarian. The interdisciplinary learning at DelVal will make me learn more about the career paths within veterinary science and help me chose the type of veterinary science I would enjoy.
As a future veterinarian, I feel as if the eclectic classes taken at DelVal will help me become the best veterinarian I know I can be. For starters, the classes taken at DelVal will help me achieve the requirements for veterinary medical colleges according to The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges.     Cruse opens the text with then contemporarily profound ideals concerning the ‘new’ Negro intellectual class that emerged out of the late 1950s and 1960s. In his discussion around the Negro spokesperson, I found myself considering the idea of Black representationalism—the avant-garde context of Cruse’s ‘spokesperson.’ His depiction of true America were bone-chilling as he analyzes the country in its totality in efforts to capitalize on the Negro’s function within in.
