1
Make a list of things you've accomplished in the time since you've been elected. Because the class vice president is often under less scrutiny than the president, many are often unaware of the things the vice president does, so don't leave anything out.
2
Write down ways you and the class president have listened to the student body and how your plans for the future reflect those needs. Write down how you plan to accomplish those needs.
3
Greet your audience. Begin with, "Good Morning," or, "Good Afternoon."
4
Start your speech on a positive note. Thank the student body for electing you and talk about why you're happy to be addressing them. Write what you enjoy about being class vice president.
5
Write about the things you've worked hard to accomplish, using the list you made earlier. Don't sound boastful; just state them in a matter-of-fact way and remind the students you did it for their benefit. Write about your plans for future tasks and how they relate to student needs.
6
Close your speech by reminding students you are there to serve them and work for their needs. Tell them how to get in touch with you to make their voices heard.
