Hi Rocco, It is evident that when acts are put in place that’s when real change will happen as seen in the video ““Nursing Home Reform Then and Now”, by looking at the faces of the residents, and caregivers in the nursing home.     The Institute of Medicine’s Report (IOM) on the future of nursing was very informative and brought very valid points for the need to reform nursing. Registered Nurses (RN) do not practice at the level that are trained. According to the IOM’s report that need to change.
