Video games don’t cause violence Change your mind about violent video games
Violent video games don’t cause violence and there is lots of evidence to prove this.
Have you ever played a violent video game and got the urge to kill everything.
You haven’t, me either it’s the same with lots of people who help fuel the huge 10+ billion dollar gaming industry. Whose buying these games Well 97 percent of teens are. If video games caused violence we would we all be dead. Exposure to violent video games has not been shown to be predictive of violent behavior or crime. Any link between video games and violence is best explained by other variables such as exposure to family violence and aggressive personality.

Violent video games don't cause violent behavior even the secret service agrees and they concluded there is no relation between them

Video games are not the cause of crimes. There are always other factors like rough family life, bad neighborhood or bad choices.
We have no indication we are training killers. Violent video games popularity has increased while juvenile crime in the U.S.A has dropped at same time. Any link between violent video games has not been proven.
Even the studies that work have defects and that's proven. As to whether parents should allow their children to play first-person shooter video games. Christopher Ferguson who is a psychologist considers it a judgment call.

Videogames decrease violence because they help players get their anger out

Violent video games may affect the form of violence but does not cause it.
Playing violent video games provides a safe outlet for aggression for boys. Playing violent video games reduces violence in adolescent boys by serving as a substitute for rough and tumble play.
Playing violent video games allows adolescent boys to express aggression and establish status in the peer group without causing physical harm.
A 2007 study reported that 45% of boys played video games because "it helps me get my anger out" and 62% played because it "helps me relax.

There is no proof that violent video games cause real violence

No study has ever shown that violent video games result directly in actual violence, let alone mass shootings. That doesn’t mean it isn’t possible, though the numbers suggest it’s very unlikely.
