Violence In A Long Way Gone

In the book, “A Long Way Gone,” Ishmael went through many violent experience. It taught me about the consequences or aftereffect, both intended and unintended of violence is by telling us lessons of it. One of his violence is when it started the rebel attacking the village, which then his family is dead. And that makes him want to revenge for his family. Later he join an army because he was told that it is a death road or have hope of living if he join the army. Of course he wants to live, so he can revenge for his family. So then he is a young soldier and practice and want to kill as many repels as he see. Those violent was not planned because he did not expected the repel kill his whole family. He thought they might be hiding somewhere else to hide from the rebels but turns out they
Days and days were past, some of his friends got ill and died by starvation or eating bad stuff. And that makes him sad too because if it were not the rebels, they don't have to escape or be starve, which he gets more into killing the rebels so badly. Also he was unintended to get caught and almost died, but he was lucky enough and survive. In his journey for escaping and surviving, he did get injured badly and ill too but he was lucky too. To fight the rebels, he is too softhearted and nice which is not easy for him to kill those rebels. So, I'm order to kill those rebels, he takes drugs which make him kill those rebels. Those drugs or marijuana, cocaine, and brown brown. Those drugs make him high which makes him killed many people. Without it, he can not even kill those rebels. Also when is was sleeping those drugs make him having a nightmare. Whenever he try to escape, he always have consequences because getting caught by people, someone died and etc. In order to survive, he gets food from outside like the fruits and sometimes they do not know if the food are poisonous or
