Violence can be defined as behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Violence is not just a thing that hurts people physically, it can hurt people mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. To define mental illness as an illness refers to a wide range of mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking, and behavior. All of these can cause someone or something to be very violent.
