Group training: “Social Security System Strengthen Towards
Universal Health Coverage in Asia”

Held in 10-23 November in Tokyo under a close cooperation with National Institute of Public
Health.
Participated by 7 countries including Indonesia,
Laos, Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand.
Through a series of lectures and site visits, it provided Japan’s and international experiences in essential policy issues toward UHC

3. Technical cooperation project
Indonesia: Study programs and seminars on social insurance
– It is held from FY2013 to FY2015 under a close cooperation with National Graduate Institute for Policy
Studies (GRIPS)
– Through study programs in Japan and a series of seminars in Indonesia, technical issues for effective management of social insurance will be discussed.
