Detailed Explanation of Case study and organization: Vonage is one of the leading hosted to VoIP providers in the nation; they are the fastest growing company. November 5, 2014, Vonage Holdings Corp., has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Telesphere Network LTD., an industry lead provider of Unified Communication as a service (UCaaS) solutions to larger enterprises in the small and medium business sector, for 114 million in cash and stock. Telesphere offer a comprehensive suite of cloud voice and Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS), including advanced call center solutions, collaboration, and mobile office and HD multipoint video conferencing. Telesphere has provided cloud communications since 2005 and has built a national, cloud platform that is especially well suited to address the needs of larger small and medium business sector (SMBs) with regionally distribution offices.

Reasons the organization require a VoIP solution:

A year after Vonage moved into the rapidly growing UCaaS market, they were substantially expanding their presence within the sector through the Telesphere acquisition. This was an important next step in continued execution of the Company’s long-term growth strategy, as demonstrated, the use of Vonage’s scale, brand, balance sheet and cash generation to invest in the acquisition of growth business has been very successful.
