“Keep your eye open to your mercies. The man who forgets to be thankful has fallen asleep in life.” There are so many things to be thankful for in life, big and small. I am thankful for my grandparents, my dogs and cat, and my mom. I am thankful for them because of everything they do for me. I am thankful for my grandparents because they took me in when no one else could. They jumped in the moment I needed and were there for me then and still are now. They put up a wall upstairs and I officially moved in I have been living with them for four and half to five years now. My grandma and I also bake and make food together. My grandmother was the one who made me interested in cooking and baking. Every night she would make herself a salad or something she liked, she would make something else for my grandfather, and them for me. She did this almost every night of every week and never ate until we had our food. They’re loving because they always put me first and make sure that I am doing good in school and that I am happy. If we ever go on a trip they will go somewhere for me even if they don’t want to because they want to make my experience the best that they possibly can. Everyone in the family always says “Everybody loves Summer” because instantly everyone wants to be her friend. I am thankful for her because she is in my life. I am thankful that she always comes over and she will either sit with me at my grandparents house or we will go out to eat. She makes almost every little thing we do fun and can add a twist. I am thankful that I have my mom to do out and do things with. Weather it’s going to the mall of just sitting in a lobby waiting. Whenever she goes to do something I always see if I can go with her. I am so thankful that I have a mom in my life to go out and go run errands with or go shopping
