And propaganda basically means ideas or statements that are often false or exaggerated and that are spread in order to help a cause, a political leader, a government, etc. And Hitler gave this responsibility of spreading propaganda to Dr. Joseph Goebbels. He controlled the all the radios and the newspapers. And the radios were short range so the Germans weren’t able to hear anything except for Nazi propaganda. By 1937, most ordinary Germans were satisfies with Hitler.

And the main slogan was ‘Ein Reich, ein Volk, ein Führer’ which means ‘one state, one people, one leader’. And pictures of Hitler showed him as a strong man, the savior of Germany, a knight in shining armor. He also liked to be seen as a kind, protective figure, looking after little children.
