I didn’t always think this job was a privilege, I thought it was an ordeal for me to spend my summer working and would dread getting up in the morning. One of the main qualities is being responsible because I have to get up early enough every morning to get everything together like my packed lunch, tools needed for the job of the day, getting properly dressed and not making us late to the job site. It has taught me self-confidence because when somebody asks what we are going to do with their property I have to be able to explain the project without any issues of unclear instructions and if they want anything extra or special done the customer needs to be able to tell me the correct way to do so. Hard work and respect are also very important qualities to have because nobody is going to get very far with a sour attitude and laziness.
