Title: WAL-MART: A STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Wal-Mart is one of the most successful businesses of the last century, and last financial year their total sales revenue topped $400 billion (Datamonitor, 2009). They are an enormous organisation, with huge ambition, and possess the ability to reshape markets to their own liking. Wal-Mart have faced many criticisms, and are feared and respected in equal measure. This report aims to examine the challenges within both their current internal and external environment, predict future market changes, and recommend how they can adapt to meet the demands of such challenges, at both business and corporate levels.
Below are several key trading brands, contributing to Wal-Mart’s success.
