Walt Disney
Disneyland

The greatest place on the face of the earth is Disneyland. Nowhere else has the magic that a day at Disneyland possesses. From my childhood to my adulthood, I have never experienced a day at Disneyland that didn't put enough joy in my heart to far exceed the admission price. Rides, shops, shows, and characters, These are just a few of the many great aspects of a wonderful place called Disneyland.

Disneyland has always been a very special place to me. My parents took my family there for the first time when I was about three. To this day I still remember shaking Mickey Mouse's hand, giving Goofy a hug, and meeting all of the rest of my favorite Disney characters. It was a truly euphoric experience to meet stars of all my favorite cartoons that I so loyally watched every morning.
When I reached preschool, and found out how to "brag", my trip to Disneyland was some of my best ammo. I laugh now at the fact that Mickey and Goofy were just normal people, yet I was overwhelmed at the time to meet such stars.

Several years passed, and I was now a twelve year old who remembered
Disneyland as a place where "little kids" go to meet Mickey Mouse. Fortunately upon arrival to the park I realized I was wrong. I soon realized that that my mature height of five feet and one-half inch had given me a golden key to the doors of some of the biggest thrill rides the world will ever know. I was now seeing Disneyland in a totally different way. I ran from ride to ride, my level of excitement raging as never before. My stomach was being twisted, juggled, and tossed like never before; for a twelve year old boy I was as close to heaven as a kid could ever dream to reach.

As my senior year of baseball arrived, our hard work fund raising was about to be paid off. We had been planning a trip to California for about a year, and on our last day before we came home we were going to spend a day at
Disneyland. After trying very hard to convince my parents that I

I had travelled all across the country, and seen things by first grade that most of my high school classmates still haven’t seen. The cross-country drives allowed me to see everything from Yellowstone National Park, to the mountains of Boulder Colorado, to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Driving around the country in a packed Honda Odyssey minivan gave me the opportunity to see so many national treasures that many people will not see in their entire life, which I am incredibly thankful for.…

When I visited Disney world I was seven years old, attending with my grandparents. I had never been so excited in my life. We took a plane to get there, and I could practically hear all the Disney characters calling my name. The two hour trip, which seemed like ages to me, was finally over when we got off at the airport in Orlando. I was so excited I just wanted to run off immediately and see everything there was to see, which is obviously impossible. First we went to our…

As a small child I was a big fan of Disney World and Disneyland. I spent several summers at each amusement park with my godparents. My parents surprised me with a special trip. We drove 6 hours to see the Neuschwanstein castle. It was very early in the morning and extremely cold. The castle is built on the top of a mountain. There were two options for getting up the mountain to see the castle, walking or by horse drawn carriage. We took the carriage in hopes that it would be slightly…

As we were coming off the Tower of Terror, all you could see were the old fashioned furniture, the dusty cob webs, flickering lights, rusted orange-red gates, and the copper colored outside of the building that held a million screams. “Wait up you two!” my dad exclaimed, but I barely heard him because it seemed like he was a mile away. My brother and I started out on a twisty ride that would eventually turn us upside down. The line was very blunt, and in about 15 minutes, I found myself plopping down in the comfy seat of the ride. The ride started by pointing straight down and proceeded right into the 360 degree turn. After that thrill of a lifetime, we went on the whole day shopping and going on as many thrilling rides as we could, while also looking at all of the amazing other things the park had in store for us. At around 8:30 P.M, just an hour before it closed, my dad decided that it was time to leave and go back home. I found myself staring up at all of the amazing things, and begging my dad if we could come back one…

A huge Mickey’s Fun Wheel jumped out at me right when I walked into the California Park. The colorful flowers set alongside a beautiful lagoon. The clip-clop of horse drawn carriages brought people back to carefree days. And of course, I never forget the biggest reason for going to Disneyland – the rides. There was a number of eye-catching moments here- some featuring otherworldly creatures, and white knuckle thrill rides through the clear sky.…
