Walt Disney Similarities
Disneyland and Walt Disney World are believed to be just two different parks. These two different parks have different locations, different sizes, and even different prices. But if we were to set all differences aside, Disneyland and Walt Disney World share a lot more then just the name "Disney". Disneyland and Walt Disney World share not only the same experience but offer the same fun and safe atmosphere. When comparing the two parks, some start to notice that, although these two parks are different, Disneyland and Walt Disney World also can have a lot in common.

Both parks have a wide variety of attractions; however The Matterhorn is exclusive to Disneyland. The Matterhorn is one of the more popular roller coasters at the Disneyland Park. "The Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is "just like" Disneyland in California." (Bennett, 1) However, Walt Disney World does not only consist of the Magic Kingdom, there are also three other theme parks: Epcot Center, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. "Walt Disney World also boasts 99 holes of golf, two miniature golf courses, two themed water parks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach…" (Davis, 2005, 2) Disneyland also consists of more than one park. Approximately three minutes, on foot, from the Disneyland Park is California Adventure. If you were to travel from one park to another at the Walt Disney World Resort, you would need to board a monorail or bus. Even taking a monorail or bus, the distance from one park to another would take ten to fifteen minutes to travel, in addition to the time it takes to enter the park through the turnstiles. The total time it would take to travel from one park to another in Walt Disney World is approximately twenty to twenty-five minutes. Basically, it is quicker, and easier, to travel from Disneyland to California Adventure than to travel from one park to another within Walt Disney …show more content…
The difference in the weather at Walt Disney World and Disneyland is astounding. For example, the weather in Southern California, where Disneyland is located, tends to be very warm during the summer season. However, the heat at the Disneyland Park is a dry heat. Disneyland does not have the extreme humidity that is found in central Florida, where Walt Disney World is located. Walt Disney World also experiences many rainy days during the summer season, whereas Disneyland is usually dry all summer.     Throughout the entire theme park, it is divided between handfuls of different sections. Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toon town, Adventureland, Frontierland are all very unique from each other; giving you a different experience each time.
