Walt Disneyland Descriptive Writing

Even though I have ridden the Magical Express bus from Orlando Airport many times, I always vibrate with excitement as I crane my neck out the window to get my first glimpse of Space Mountain. The monorail zooms beside our bus, pointing the way to the Magic Kingdom. Finally, we reach the sign announcing our arrival at the Magic Kingdom. When we walk through the dark tunnel at the front gate, it always feels as if I am entering another world. I see Pluto hugging a boy and signing autographs. Walking next to him is a man with so many Mickey Mouse balloons it looks like he could drift away to the moon. I hear Ragtime music that makes me want to dance with my Mom. I hear bubbling laughter all around me, and everything sparkles and shines like it was made special just for me. I keep returning to Walt Disney World because when I do, I feel like I’m coming home.
As I walk down Main Street U.S.A. the stores greet me like old friends. The Main Street Emporium beckons me to come inside and look for new t-shirt designs and cel phone cases. To the right is the Hat Shop where I bought my first Mickey Mouse hat. Outside the Hat Shop a checker board waits patiently on an forgotten table. I’ve spent many an afternoon trying to win a game of checkers while sipping on an icy cold soda. At the end of
Emerald green patches of grass are arranged like spokes on a wheel around a statute of Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney. My family and friends love to relax on the soft, squishy grass and watch people pass by as we eat our ice cream. Whenever I lay down on the silky soft grass, It feels as if I am back home on my favorite couch instead of sitting in the middle of a large crowd of people. Soft music fills the air around us and if you are not careful, you’ll fall fast asleep on the inviting grass just like I did on one cool summer
