Walter Mitty Character Analysis

I like the last story that we read called the secret life of Walter Mitty because revealing people to define what situation we are in and why people do not like to face the problem and they choose to avoid . At the end of the story , He realized fantasy won't happen in real life that inspired me to find the meaning of life . In this story also explored more like if you have a dream , It could be the courages that help you succeed.

In the first unit , my favorite character is Charlie's father from the story reunion , He cares about his son specially , my first expression of him is not that good , but when I read through these paragraphs , the detail shows Charlie is the cherish for him . He could be rude to another people , but when he faces to his son , He is tender and never be sad . Also he argued with a bartender because they can not serve drugs to his son , He speaks glowingly his son , and he is being regretted about he didn't lead his son visit his club . When Charlie
was leaving , he is reluctant and he bought a newspaper for him .

My first impression of demonologist is creepy and gloomy.
Because the style of the intro is darkness. A girl was scared about where she stands at. And the girl explained, She stood at the opposite side of the river and there was a dark forest behinds him , no one besides her. At the begging of the story makes people imaged more, because a character was a professor not that girl. That makes me imagine is the man kills the girl or they both in the forest.

Lear and Gloucester are similar because they both had a high status. Gloucester is a duke and Lear is a king. They both had a long beard, the beard could symbolize the significance of intelligent or the age is getting older. They both had a bad son or daughter caused them has nothing. Gloucester lost power and his mind because Edmund frames Edgar, this effected he can believe in nobody .Lear lost his power, Cordelia and Kent. Lear believes in Cordelia 's siblings lies even he didn't need that hundred soldiers, so there are no one besides him

I don't like the poetry unit because I have to memorize the style, type and the author of the poem, it is worth mentioning that allusion is not that hard because some of the poem doesn't have an allusion. I feel struggles with define what sound devices did the poem used, is there has an internal rhyme. The easiest part of this unit is to define the type of the poem, most of the poem is easy to identify because the speaker conveys the emotion to us or is he talks about a story.However, some poem has to follow the sonnet form so I have to memorize what is iambic pentameter, what is English sonnet and what is Italian sonnets.
