Walter White The Breaking Bed

While watching and analyzing the sixth episode of the Breaking Bed, I disagree with Harvrilesky that Walter White is unlikable because I believe that TV shows even make the anti-hero to be likable. The anti-hero characters, in the TV shows and films, have some specific historical backgrounds and show the audience the purpose of these anti-heroic actions, which usually convert the audience's senses of unlikable anti-hero into a of sympathy or respectfulness. The main character Walter White, a chemistry teacher at a high school, is diagnosed with the terminal cancer and going through the chemotherapy and, during his lecture at school, White has to rush to the restroom to throw up because of the side-effects from the therapy. These scenes shows
why White is always depressed and worried of finances of family, that made him start making the crystal meth to raise his income for the family. During the episode, he shaves his hair bold due to the hair loss and he gives him a fake name Heisenberg to hide his real identity. All these scenes show the audience that the evolution of Mr. White the powerless chemistry teacher into a vicious drug dealer; yet, the audience also begins to acknowledge the purposes of White's unwanted evolution to financially support his family before his given time passes. Walter White's solution is the unlikable anti-heroic action, but, as the audience progresses through the story line, they unintentionally began to pity and understand the criminal Heisenberg. In film and TV industries, an anti-hero are usually described as the most villainous character, yet, the character with the unfortunate background and self-centered justice to fulfill his or her goals, which influence the audience to pity the character and feel sorry for the consistent unfortunate events.
