Plutonium was harvested in several secret parts of the country.The workers who helped build the bombs were given the same tasks, so they had little idea of what they were making.It had to be secret, so the plans or knowledge of the bomb wouldn't reach enemy ears, like soviet spys as it would be devastating if did.The Manhattan project began in 1942, until its completion in 1945. The bombs consist of plutonium or Uranium which undergo nuclear fission which starts a massive chain reaction causing further fission, which results in a vast fireball emitting extreme radiation and harmful rays. It creates a blast capable of obliterating a town. Allis originally may have had to use the bombs on Europe, but they never had to.Japan was going to stop at nothing in their destructing, and wouldn't surrender on no conditions.
