Warren Bennis Becoming A Leader
Leadership and management share commonalities needed within organizations. In my research Solomon et. al shared a synapsis of Warren Bennis’ Becoming a Leader” where differences of management were quoted. Although the spelling of some words seem different, the message is very clear. They are written as found in the publication and I would like to share a five of the eleven differences, quoted below:
• “The manger administrates, while the leader innovates.
• The manager maintains, while the leader develops.
• The manager relies on control, while the leader relies on trust.
