saw his life and the actions he committed. However, Beowulf did care about what God thought of him “This life happy; I can die, here,/ Knowing the Lord of all life has never/ Watched me wash my sword in blood” (lns 2740-2742). Beowulf was accepting his death knowing he did nothing wrong and the that he was going to go to heaven. If he did not believe in the Lord then he would not have cared what the Lord thought of his actions. But he did care that is why he accepted death and was content with his life that he had. The hero, Beowulf should go to heaven.
He is a Christian man who speaks and praises only one Lord. Throughout the story Beowulf wanted to do nothing but protect people from evil monsters. He was doing the Lord's work by killing the monsters to protect the people. Beowulf should go to heaven for the fact that he praised one Lord, which caused God to look over him and care about him. Beowulf also cared deeply about how the Lord saw his life before he died, being christian it would be important to care how he judged someone on their way to heaven. He was happy knowing the Lord would accept him for his positive
actions.
