On August 28, 1963 in Washington D.C Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech that talked about how freedom should be given to all men or woman no matter what race or religion (P-51). The speech he gave was telling people about his dream and how black people would finally be free from discrimination. He was basically demanding freedom. He said that the constitution would give all men equal rights but it lied to them and that it wasn’t right. IT was about a man named Juan. Juan was part of a rebellion group against argentines government. He was sent to a letter checking facility where they censored letters against the government. His mission was to stop the censoring or a certain letter. He got the job and eventually got to one of the highest promotions where he censors letters. By this time Juan had really got into the job and was very loyal. He had become so loyal towards his job that when the note came that he was supposed to protect Juan hesitated but then censored it. Later on He turned himself in for even having the thought of rebelling and has executed the next day. In this story we see how the government can persuade even maybe hypnotize someone to turn them self in for rebelling (P-92). Juan didn’t even see it coming and he did not stand a chance. This shows that freedom can be taken away from you without knowing. They did not even have the chance to demand for freedom even though they needed
