Was it difficult building the lighthouse in 1868?
The construction of the cape Hatteras lighthouse began in 1868.The lighthouse took three years to complete.The major difficultie was that the lighthouse was in such an isolated spot there where no roads for materials to get to the lighthouse there wasn't even any cars so to get the materials to the construction site everything was brought in by a boat. Small steam boats or sailing vessels were used to bring the materials to the construction site. Difficulties started before the workers even started building the lighthouse several ships were wrecked in gales within the view of the site due to this they lost 150,000 bricks.Because of the wrecks they had to come up with something different so they used boats with special built shallow draft boats.The whole lighthouse took 1,250,000 bricks.

So if the sun just dissaperead what would happen to the orbital system? What would happen to the earth? Anything in orbit around the sun is moving fast enough to be in a constant state of freefall towards the sun. So if the planets jsut stoped moving they would immediately be pulled towards the sun and burn in the sun. Knowing this information now if the sun was to disappear all the planets,asteroids and comets and anything else would retain a forward motion. This time instead of going into the sun since the sun is non existing everything would basically launch forward into space. After that nobody knows what would happen but they do know it would be thousand of years before the planets came into another vicinity or
