Was It Justified To Drop A Nuclear Bomb In Japan?
Proposal for Extended Essay: Was It Justified to Drop a Nuclear Bomb in Japan? I decide to write about the nuclear bomb incident happened at the end of World War II. The United States dropped two nuclear bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki at August 6 and August 9, 1945. The United States was one of the United Nations, while Japan was one of the Axis Powers. They were on the opposite military alliances during the World War II. In order to end the war shortly, the United States under the command of President Truman dropped two nuclear bombs in Japan. After the dropping of the nuclear bombs, millions of Japanese soldiers and civilians were killed. This incident became one of the most controversial events in the world.
