Washing Your Troubles Away-Process Analysis Essay
Washing Your Troubles Away-Process Analysis Essay Most people enjoy having some alone time, taking time out to relax is really important to maintain a positive attitude. It is the time you get to escape. You can go anywhere you want, away from everyone and all the things that are on your mind; into a place in your mind that makes you feel happy and relaxed. One way to do that is by taking a bath. The best time to relax is at night before ending the day and going to bed. First, run the water hotter than normal and allow the tub to fill up with warm, soothing water throughout. Play some relaxing music; Pandora is a website full of variety and plays all kinds of music. If you like to read then bring along a good book, but make sure that you do not drop it in the tub. A lot of people, including males, like candles. You can turn the bathroom light off and light a candle. The candle light makes the room glow beautifully and the candle’s smell also relaxes the mind. Some people also like to take bubble baths. You can take your inner child out for a little bit and play with the bubbles. Enjoy feeling like a child with no care in the world. Once the tub is full, slowly put your feet in the water. With each part of your body sinking into the tub, let yourself go and feel the water surrounding you. It is always best to be fully in the tub to escape into your mind. Tilt your head back and close your eyes. Lay still. Imagine a place in your mind where there are trees blowing in the ocean breeze. Feel the wind in your hair. Take a couple of deep breathes and picture going into the ocean. You can see the beautiful fish and colorful plants. Go under and feel the movement of the water, listen to the silence. The tub is also a great place to sort your thoughts. Every day is full of different things and everyone has something that is on their minds, be it good or bad. Being in the tub helps some analyze their feelings and figure out solutions to their problems. Taking a nice, long, hot bath can be just what you need. It is a cleansing process; you can relax your body and mind at the same time. When washing yourself, start from your head and work down. The day is over, and you are now scrubbing all the negativity and frustration away. Your problems melt away in the warm water, now disappearing into the drain, your muscles are relaxed; all the tensions of the day disappear. When you get out of the tub and stand up, stay frozen for a bit and feel the calmness washing over. You will feel clean and cozy, ready to go into your warm bed and fall asleep.

Is there a place that you go to just to think or feel relaxed? Everyone has a place like that and the Delaware River is that place for me. When I first moved to Pennsylvania seven years ago, I loved that I was going to live near a river. I had never lived so close to any body of water before. After about one year of living in Easton, Pennsylvania, my mom and I had decided to have a picnic every year alongside the Delaware River. We would sit on the grass with the sun warming our faces and just watch the water in the river flow until it fell down the waterfall. The Delaware River provides a place for me to think and it’s also a great place to go if you want to relax.…

Everything we do in life involves some kind of process to get it accomplished. Whether it is tying our shoes, baking a cake, or changing the oil in the car. People do things differently and have certain steps they take, in their own way, to get it done. This essay could be written about practically anything, but it will be about how to carve a jack-o-lantern. Carving a pumpkin is actually pretty easy. With a few quick, straight cuts with a knife, triangular eyes, a nose, and a toothy smile can be made. The result is a face that almost anyone will recognize, even if it was not drawn on a piece of paper. It is the face of a jack-o-lantern. Carving a really memorable jack-o-lantern can take a bit more planning, involving steps such as, preparing the pumpkin, actually carving the pumpkin, and getting the pumpkin finished and ready to put on display.…

There is nothing that is more comforting to me than a cozy bed with crisp, clean sheets. My bed has always been my place for rest and relaxation. The only thing that could come close to comparison would be a shower. Both my bed and a shower seem to help me wash my problems away. On my days off, I love to stay in bed as late as I possibly can; I can also, sit in the shower until my fingers and toes are pruned, leaving me without any hot water. The shower is there to help me start a refreshing day, and my bed is my haven at the end of the day. Lying in bed I feel the same as being in the shower; while in both I feel peace and serenity.…

It is okay to take a bath every day, except Friday and on days when the ladies have their period. Taking a bath on a Friday may diminish one’s ability to fight evil spirits or bad fortune. Meanwhile, ladies having their period are better off not taking a bath as the act may cause or worsen dysmenorrhea and may cause hair loss. Guess this is applicable in the olden days when people don’t have enclosed bathrooms, but rather go to rivers or springs to wash clothes, fetch water and take a bath. It is awful to take a bath with cold water while having menstrual cramps, not to mention the wind chill.…
