Water Gun Crier-Personal Narrative
Water gun crier

One hot day in Frisco Texas I was outside on my sidewalk in the shade of my tree coloring with the new chalk I just got. I looked down my street because I heard the sound of a rolling scooter screeching down the road, and I saw Hadley’s annoying little brother coming my way. Hadley’s was my best friend and her brother’s name was Griffin which means a dangerous person from Middle English...Just saying. He yelled at me at the top of his lungs “I’m getting my water gun!!” I wasn’t going to let a 6 year old take me down,so I needed to think of a plan. Once I was sure he was gone,I sprinted to my garage to find a water gun. I quickly filled up my water gun with the hose and hid behind a bush. I waited for at least 30 minutes

As I opened my door, I noticed each person was carrying a big cup filled with water. Before I had time to the slam the door closed, and run away my mind blanked, and there in front of me was 5 kids with 5 empty cups of water, and I was drenched from head to toe. Hadley didn’t talk to me for 2 weeks because of that, but I learned never to mess with Griffin.

One sunny, hot day I was outside in my backyard playing with my friend Annabel who lived across the street from me. Then all the sudden I heard a scream that sounded like it came from my brother. I dashed out to find Morgan with a water gun pointed at my brother. I yelled at her not to shoot multiple times but she ignored me and soaked my brother. He quickly burst into tears as the water sprayed on him. I yelled at Morgan “I told you not to shoot!”. Then I took my brother by the hand and we walked back to my house to figure out how to get Morgan back.
I invited 3 other friends to help hold a cup full of ice cold water and dump it on Morgan’s head.We all walked down her street proud for we had a golden plan that was for sure to work! We knocked on her door and right as she opened it she got 5 cups of water poured all over her. We all walked away with our noses in the air for we had one this battle, and I didn't talk to Morgan for 2 weeks because of that and I hope she learned her

For twelve years I got to see everything she did. We went to Disneyland once! It was awesome! My favorite ride was Splash Mountain. First, we went into the boat thing. Markie was in front of us and Randall behind us. They are her brothers. We creaked up the slope and turned left. We went to the right and through a short tunnel. Small figures were everywhere, as we slowly went up a steep hill. When we got to the top water was all over the place. I had wondered why. KA-BOOM!!!!!!! We were going down the biggest hill ever! Water was getting in my hair. Markie, Lisa, and Randall were screaming at the top of their lungs. Thirty feet, twenty feet ten feet, SPLASH!!!! I got so wet, that I wouldn’t have to take bath for a month! The water was up to Lisa’s feet in the boat. It was slow for the rest of the ride, but there was a lot of chatter going on, but mom ands dad looked scared. “Want to go on It’s a small world?” asked Helen. Melvin just nodded.…

So I went outside and hopped onto the fence to stare at the valley, then I hopped back down to play with my dog and before I knew it my dog had ripped a tear into it and just like that the jacket was ruined. So I was somewhat happy but what I had forgotten was that I had to go to school with that ugly jacket, because mom didn’t want me ruining it the first week. So I did and before I knew it, my friends were making fun of me, or so I thought. Even the nice girls wouldn’t talk to me, but that’s maybe not the reason. So maybe I should try and play something to get my mind off it, but what I knew was the jacket was still on and it would stay on for the rest of the week. But with a bunch of anger he knew in his head that he had another jacket after all. That other jacket was so nice that he couldn’t stop thinking of it, his teacher had to wake him up from daydreaming so much. But then just like that the week was over and he rushed home, threw on the jacket and right away, faster than a cheetah he flew out the front door off to school, and straight away when he got to school, he became the most popular kid…

I had seen what could quite possibly be the most amusing sight in my whole life this afternoon. As I had watched through my "spy hole" as I liked to call it, two young boys were standing a ways down the street with a little girl running towards them with a tire. "I'm first!" the little girl had proclaimed. I had wondered what they were up to but thankfully I didn't have to wait long. The little girl folded herself into the tire. The eldest of the boys went behind the tire and pushed it! I couldn't believe my eyes? They had just rolled the poor girl down a hill in a tire! After a moment I had realized that they were simply playing a game! I had watched silently, as the two boys ran down the hill as fast as they could, without gravity making them fall, after the girl in the tire. I had continued watching with my eyes wide as she eventually fell out into my yard. Her small body had lain on the ground for a couple of minutes, and I had thought in that split second that those fools had seriously hurt her, but she had quickly shaken off any pain or confusion she had, what with the boys yelling at her like they were. "Scout, get away from there, come on!" The panic in his voice had scared me somewhat; I had never experienced that type of caring before. The girl – Scout – had rolled her head to the side, and raised it ever so slightly, and had looked straight towards the house I reside in currently. Her eyes had gone wide as saucers while her mouth had formed an 'O' shape. It had been rude of me, but I had smirked at her expression. "Come on, Scout, don't just lie there!" The oldest boy had screamed. "Get up, can'tcha?"Scout had risen to her feet as quickly as she could; trembling violently as she navigated her way from the yard. "Get the tire!" The same boy had yelled. "Bring it with you! Ain't you got any sense at all?" I had felt sorry for her, but I couldn't help myself. It had been so long since I had felt like that and that instinctual need to let my…

As I quietly sneaked out the back door of Monkey's house my heart began to beat a little faster and I felt somewhat anxious, but I kept on going toward Sarah's house. I remember walking in the thick, dark green St.Augustine grass in my aunt's yard that felt like cushioning under my Mary Jane shoes and looking carefully in every direction to make sure no one was watching me en route to my destination. As I approached Sarah's front yard I began to feel uneasy and a little afraid, but I kept my eyes on the prize and knew Sarah had gone to work. As I stepped on Sarah's lawn, my eyes darted back and forth to see if there were again any bystanders or cars coming down the street. The coast was clear so I nervously made my way through Sarah's front yard to the porch and walked up the front steps to the mailbox. I could see through the glass that the mailbox was stuffed with different sized envelopes with typed letters of the alphabet on them. I stretched forth my hand and gently opened the lid so it would not squeak any more than possible. With my other hand I picked up the envelopes decorated with important writing and carefully removed them from the glass mailbox. As I turned around, again my eyes quickly grazed the landscape to see if anyone had spotted me. I then ran down the front porch steps, through Sarah's front yard, back into Monkey's yard, and made my way to…

The summer following my sixth grade year was full of kick the can, capture the flag, ghost in the graveyard, and many more games played with the neighborhood kids. Some games got out of hand at times. As I tried to tag Conner to stop him from scoring in our little game of capture the ball, I seemed to forget I had a tree in the middle of my yard and I ran straight into it. Once during a competition of “America’s Got Talent” Logan mooned all of us, leaving us girls petrified. Then one hot summer night I was running the bases as we continued our game of whiffle ball while Trenton started to pee in the open onto our homemade bases made of rocks... he didn’t receive chocolate chip cookies with the rest of us that night. Out of all our eventful times the one I treasure most is when we set up our own little camp site. We found two tents and connected them both in my backyard. We slept outside, one tent for the boys and one for the girls. Eventually the boys got scared by a gunshot we heard in the distance so they joined us but were kept at a distance by my mother who kept an eye on us that night. Long games of truth or dare were…

“The defendant is…not guilty,” said the judge. Yes, my plan actually worked. I can’t believe that Herb actually made everybody agree that I was innocent. I actually got away with killing my idiotic father. Oh I despised him so much, he would beat me and yell at me for no apparent reason. I remember that day like it was yesterday, I went to the drugstore and bought myself a switchblade knife. I was so irritated and I was ready to do anything to get rid of that old hag. I walked into the apartment and he was sitting down at the table. I snuck up behind him and stabbed him in the chest as hard and fast as I possibly could. He yelled then turned around and looked at me with a shocked look then fell on the ground. Right when he died, I felt devastated but also overjoyed because I wasn’t going to get abused anymore, however, I also lost my dad.…

As I sat there, playing, the door suddenly banged open. My mom stood there anxiously with fear in her chocolaty eyes. I knew something tragic had occurred for she never came home early. She grabbed my forearms and pulled me up with a jolt and snatched a plastic bag from the corner and stuffed what little clothes and toys I had in it. My own brown eyes were filled with tears, but I didn’t let them fall. She dragged me along as she moved and on her way out, she shut the door with a thunderous bang. Who would have thought that that was the last day I would ever see that little one room garage house again.…
