Abstract
In the introduction part, I will give the purpose and thesis statement of the research and give some necessary background knowledge to provide some idea for readers. In the Methodology part, I will give the method how I collect the information. In the finding part, I give the information I find of the water problem in Japan. And in the discussion part, I give the process of the research and finally I justify the solution of the problem. And I will give some recommendations of the research to make the research more persuasive.
1.0 Introduction
In order to solve the water problem in Japan, I did the research and write the report. Japan is located in the Pacific Ocean to the east of the Asian continent. Land area of about 377800 square kilometers, north and south 3000 kilometers long, is mainly composed of Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu territories of long and Narrow Island, mountainous area accounts for about 76% of the land area. Japan subtropical to subfrigid zone, influenced by the Pacific warm current, much of the Japanese archipelago rainwater enough, annual rainfall of 1700-1800 - mm, nearly twice the world average annual rainfall of 970 mm. In central Japan, terrain is steep, north and south is long and narrow, and there was a ridge mountains, and the shorter the length of the river, and the grade is big, a lot of rain water resources have not been produced after use or into the sea, can use the amount of water is about 60% - 60% of dry year rivers runoff. From the point of per capita water resources, the global average of 7045 cubic meters, Japan is 3300 cubic meters, Japan is still less than half the global average. All in all, Japan has a very severe water problem because of human’s involvement.
