Waterpark

Welcome Waterpark When I was about 5 years old I started going to waterparks. I remember it was a big ordeal, because of how far it was to drive. I grew up in a small town, so commercial development was mainly exclusive to larger cities. On the day of departure for the waterpark we would get up extra early. As my grandmother used to say, “we got up before the chickens”. During the drive, the closer we got to the waterpark, the more exciting it was to see the larger city. We were like kids in a candy store(M). Lights, multi-lane roads, cars, trucks, tall buildings, and people were everywhere. It was a concrete jungle(S). Now fast forward 30 years and we are now in present day and I am still living in that same small town. A waterpark is being built here this year. I am pro waterpark as there are many upsides to this issue. These include: growth and development, economy growth and overall beautification. In thirty years’ time our city didn’t seem to grow like it should have. While the rest of the world was growing and improving, we were not. One thing this waterpark will do is promote growth and development. Since the announcement a few years ago, we have already developed much more. Home Improvement Stores, restaurants, hotels, newer gas stations, updated movie theaters are just a few of the new growth we’ve had. I find myself filling up with the same excitement from childhood when I drive thru the city now. Another thing this waterpark will bring is economic growth. I am referring to the waterpark itself as well as the other businesses that will thrive. The city will reap benefits of higher revenues. Local business will get more exposure and reap the benefits. Our job market will increase, creating multiple jobs. So far our population hasn’t increased by much but the economic growth is better.
