Introduction & Construction Industry Development Council
Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) has been jointly established by the Planning Commission, Government of India and the
Indian Construction Industry. Since its inception in 1996, CIDC has initiated several activities for the benefit of construction industry. A notable few are:

Advice the Government on policy formulation
related to
construction industry.
•
Standardization of construction contracts and
•
Training manpower at skilled worker level and
procedures. construction management level.

Grading of construction entities

Devise mechanisms for workers' welfare.
