Waw Homecoming Monologue Analysis
PROLOGUE: It was the night of WWE Homecoming when Matt Hardy lost the Loser Leaves RAW Match and the same night that I became an official WWE wrestler. During the match, Lita and I had an encounter until she hit me in the head with a steel chair while I was trying to untangle Matt from the ropes. Edge and Lita won the match that night and Matt had to leave RAW for good…It saddened me a little bit because I felt that he and I were just getting closer. Even though our relationship was strictly professional, I sensed the small chemistry among us while we worked together. One time I even attempted to kiss him good luck before a match, but he stopped me. We both knew it wouldn’t have worked out. His break up was still eating away at him and that's …show more content…
But this is nothing new for I always encounter “could-have-been” relationships. It has either never worked out the way I hoped it would or once it seems to progress the flames burn out, or they burn out because the other person is still grieving about the last person they have been with and I was there as a comforter. I chose to manage Matt because of his raging determination to defeat Edge. It drew me to him. At first he refused to let me manage him, but since his career was on the line, he had no choice but to accept my offer. We turned out to be a great team. But now that Matt was not going to be in RAW anymore, who was I going to manage? I watched as he was getting escorted out of the building. As much as it sucked because he didn't deserve to leave and the possibility of becoming something more flew out the window, it was time to move on and focus on what …show more content…
At the same time the whole arena turns red. Making his way to the ring is the same man I saw in the promo: mysterious, tall, bald, and eyes so somber yet it portrays darkness, emptiness, and anger simultaneously. His demeanor is sinister, but also inexplicably pleasing to my me.…As I watch him walk down to the ring, I suddenly have the same tight feeling I encountered last week in my abdomen…I couldn’t move a muscle. Never have I seen such an intriguing superstar like him. The closer he got to the ring, the farther away the other superstars went. They try to go so far, but since they were surrounded by ropes, there was so much they can go. Kane gets into the ring, and Carlito gets in front of Kane’s face. Before Carlito even had a slight chance of striking at him, Kane grabs Carlito by the neck with one hand, lifts him up more than 7 feet high and choke-slams him with all of his power straight down right where the poor soul was standing seconds ago. Then he grabbed him by his hair with both hands, stood him up and effortlessly threw him out of the ring which still caused Carlito to slam hard on the ground. Suddenly I left the locker room and head to the ramps. I pace straight to Carlito but my pace diminishes as I notice Kane staring intently at me. A sudden shrill drapes down my spine and the tight feeling got even tighter…I can’t move a muscle…until I felt a pull on my arm. It was Carlito still

The definition of murder in the first degree is: any intentional murder that is willful and premeditated with, by the law of Massachusetts, malice aforethought. This means that one must have the intention to kill, and have thought about killing for enough time for one’s conscious to fully commit to the killing with an evil purpose. So simply by definition, it appears that Matt is a first degree murderer; As we see in the film, his plan was very intricate which shows his forethought, pan out on day where he would have the perfect alibi. He is also the one that pulled the trigger, so surely there was malice in the squeezing of that trigger. All the evidence is there that would put him away for years, or even a lifetime in prison; But now that…

Silence entered the air after I stepped out of my apartment complex. Slamming the door hard, I walked out of the building and started strutting down the sidewalk into town. Several arguments left the air after I stepped out into the cold, frosty morning of November in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My parents have been arguing for months now, and I can’t take it. I mean, they’re good parents and have given me a nice place and all, but they always are getting drunk and argue all the time. I’ve tried to leave home multiple times but I always end up winding back. I poked at my shaggy, greased blonde hair. I’m a labeled greaser and belong to Tim Shepard’s gang. I mean they’re fun and all, but sometimes I can’t stand them. They watch out for me, we’re buddies, but they’re always drunk and wound up in fights all the time. It’s just like at home, but with the gang I feel more like they’re not gonna leave me.…

Not only is this a part of my life but it has taken control of my life. As a child at the age of eight, I had not experienced many things nor had I the knowledge to know of all the great opportunities life has to offer. Things come at you when they’re not expected; that’s life. Actions that you may do in the present could affect you in the future. Noises, shouts and grunts could be overheard from a distance and my curiosity grew as they increased intriguing me to peek into the door of the burgundy coated building. Little did I expect that what I was about to encounter on the opposite side of this door would hold a great amount of meaning to me in the near future. I opened the door, my eyes were immediately drawn to the center of the gymnasium as people from the audience that came to speculate screamed and shouted. There was people seated on both sides of the gymnasium, from left to right people were exclaiming their emotions as they intensely watched the center of the gym. In the center there was a mat in which two young men were fighting aggressively, trying to bring one another down, grunting and panting. This is wrestling and it is not a game, it is war. This is my realm and my escape from the harsh reality on the outside of this gym and this is where I am destined to be for the rest of my life.…
