We All Have Equal Rights In The United States
We all have equal rights. We all can vote, drive, go to school. Well those are the basic rights that we are all given. There is a lot more to the word equality and, that is what i believe in. I believe in everyone having the same rights. I believe that we all should be able to do what we please and not have hate or some sort of ridicule that is given. Yes we have equal rights for women and men but, there is a lot more to this simple word. Equality can be a very big important thing to America and the whole entire world. Equality means the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, and opportunities. There is a lot more to equality then women and men having the same rights. It can mean people of color, someone's sexual orientation, or even the status they have in the world. Without equality there may be some imbalance in the world. An example of this is LGBT rights. In 2015 gay marriage was legal everywhere;making america more equal in relationships. This results in pride parades to show who you really are inside. This group tries to prove that African americans are still not as equal as most people think. Most of the rallies that have happened hae been introduced over police brutality. Most black live matter activist think that the police target black people because of what they are stereotyped as. Most bash this movement because “All Lives Matter” but, the message is being took the wrong way. Black Lives Matter means that they will protest till they feel like what repressed feelings have gone away, not that their lives are more important than whites. This moment hasn't gone far to change much but maybe in the future something will change about
