I had to leave being an Assistant manager at Walmart, and become a server because, I couldn’t afford the child care cost. It was either be a stay at home mom, or find work elsewhere. Well that is not everyone option, and most families are forced to pay 14,567 a year which is crazy just to work, and families are giving most of their money away when they can be saving it for their children’s college funds. However, I think that the job that the parents are in should give grants to those families who can’t afford child care, and got rejected for the grants through the government. I also, think that our government needs to reevaluate the child care system, and granted it is talked about. There is help for the lower class, and the wealthy can afford it. But it’s not affordable to the middle class by any means, and they are suffering because of it, and yes some middle class parents would say they are not suffering. But I bet not one would say yes my day care for my kids is so cheap, and is such a great deal. We need to come together and really help one another, by making child care cheaper, and I’m not saying hurt the people who are in the profession and taking care of our children. Because they don’t make hardly anything, but we need more funding from either the state or the federal government. Also, maybe looking into some other countries, and see how their child care program is ran. I am not for parents spending more money on infants, than a college student that just baffles me. We need to fix this, and instead of keep saying fix it I mean more parents should be upset about this. Bring the child care reform act to congress, because they all know it’s not cheap, and a huge issue. Child care seems to be on the rise, and parents need to
