A web based application is the ultimate way to take advantage of today’s technology to enhance organizations productivity and efficiency. Web based application gives an opportunity to access municipality information from anywhere in the world at anytime. It also facilities to save time and money n improve interaction and connectivity.
The Municipality of Angadanan is considered as a 3rd class municipality in the province of Isabela. According to the latest census, it has a population of 39,743 people and 7, 106 households distributed in 59 barangays. The province is well-known by its agricultural, fishery, commercial and service centers in terms of economic activity. For these reasons therefore, there are a lot of problems encountered as describe by the Municipal planning and development officers in terms of information dissemination. The municipality uses the manual process of disseminating information about its achievements and activities. This is because only few among the constituents know about the different activities. It is not being disseminated in a wider scope or coverage such as in nearby places or neighboring provinces or municipalities locally and abroad. Only tarpaulins and other forms of dissemination are utilized such as fliers and other media outlets are used to spread out information to few. It is time consuming in the production of such fliers and entails a lot of municipal funds or budget in multimedia advertisements. Sometimes it leads also to the loose or lack of materials for reproduction of fliers and other forms needed in the dissemination of
