Purpose, tone, audience, and content, are ideal in developing academic writing skills. Purpose is the reason for even starting to write about any topic. Often purpose will have the writer choose what kind of paper to write; whether it may be evaluation, synthesis, summary, or analysis. By developing this skill the writer can then set the tone they might want to use. By setting the tone of the paper the writer can control the mood of the paper and control how they feel about the topic. By incorporating tone in any paper, the writer can make a personal connection to the type of audience they are writing for. In connecting with the audience, the writer can evaluate and incorporate the audience’s diversity through their demographics, education level, prior knowledge, and expectations on the paper being written. Learning the audience and their expectations can lead the writer to include good support material or content of the paper. By including good content and supporting material, the writer therefore can focus on what they are going to write about and what the writer is going to discuss about in their topic. The writer must have an audience and purpose before they can start research on content or even set the tone of the paper. In conclusion, in combining purpose, audience, tone, and content, a writer can develop academic writing skills and use those skills for every aspect of writing, which are ideal for academic writing.

Interest rates is the price that the lender sets for the borrower to pay as a fee to borrow money. Depending on whether or not interest rates are high or low, you may or may not qualify for a specific loan. When interest rates are higher, we as an economy have less money, and most people save for what they want to purchase rather than finance. When interest rates are higher, less people qualify for vehicle and home loans. Very low interest rates tempt more people to get into debt, as more people qualify for the same loans. Overall, most people agree that it is ridiculous to pay outrageous interest rates, understanding that saving and paying cash later is more better. Whenever interest rates go up in the marketplace buy ½ percent, it is said that over 100,000 buyers will be eliminated from qualifying for a loan.…

On a freshly formatted disk, these files load fairly quickly. Over time, however you may start to notice performance issues - caused by disk fragmentation.…

The first step is pre-writing. Prewriting is basically thinking: first you choose a topic to write on, than you listen to your work, after that you brainstorm ideas, etc… This step helps to get the creative thought flowing; also identifies who, what, where, when, and why. Free-writing and idea mapping are ways to start thinking about the main topic, and also allows the writer to find how they can relate with the topic. Once the writer has an idea on what they want to write about, he or she should begin outlining the structure of their ideas.…

An adept writer usually depends on an existing way of writing which they learnt from others. The basic procedures of academic writing can be found in the templates which would help students to be familiar with conventional writing patterns and to make more sounded arguments. The most essential template in the book is the “they say, I say” template that teaches students to react to the arguments made by other people. The authors believed that a well-argued academic writing should include the opinion of others so that readers will know why there is a need to make an argument. The arguments that writers respond to do not have to be an eminent writer or the audience. From the template, we can learn that we do not need to be restricted to agreement and disagreement. We can agree and disagree at the same time. In addition, templates can help students to make more complicated moves…
