Popularity and respect are a huge factor and if a person does not get noticed, it is very stressful. Teens have a lot of stress and weight training is a great way to take stress out of a teenagers day. “Weight training can increase the risk of injury” (Dinu 3). The risk of injury is well known in the fitness world, but, it is easy to prevent. Another drawback is that, “Weight training has a risk of aggravating an existing condition” (Dinu 3). This risk can be avoided by getting a check up with a local physician. Cardio is the third type of workout. Cardio is an excellent way to get in shape. There are multiple types of cardio. For this paper though, it is focused on Aerobic training. Aerobic training is running. “Aerobic training helps lower cholesterol” (Chin 1). Cholesterol is high in obese/overweight people, the elderly, and also diabetics. Aerobic training helps those people. Also, “Aerobic training improves speed: (Chin 1). Running is running. The more a person runs the faster that person gets, the faster a person gets the quicker he/she will finish their run. “Aerobic training can help you endure longer and harder training” (Chin 1). The harder one works the body the faster the pounds shred away. Also, “Aerobic training improves heart conditions” (Chin 1). The more a person runs, the longer they work their hearts, the more the heart works, the stronger the heart is. Also, “Aerobic training normalizes blood pressure” (Chin 1). People with high/low blood pressure can benefit from running. Blood flow is a critical thing in running, the less blood pressure the faster the blood can get to the places it needs to be at.
Now the bad things about running can make a man/woman think twice. This can be avoided by running for only a certain amount of time. Excessive running can cause damage to the legs.
