Welcome address (School people leader’s welcome speech on 40th Anniversary Inauguration Ceremony dated 26th February 2012)
Dear Guest of Honor, Brother Patrick, Reverend Brothers, Distinguished School. Principal, Friends, Parents, Old boys, Teachers, and Students,
On behalf of the school, I have great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 40th Anniversary and Open Days Inauguration Ceremony of. It is a day of rejoice because we will recall together a lot of touching stories we had experienced in in the last forty years. It is also a day for our old students, parents and friends to know more about the recent and future development of the school. Our students have always been known as students of diversified capabilities and I am sure you will agree after your visit today.
The celebration of the 127th Anniversary must be linked who established the school in 1855. It is therefore our greatest honor to have Peter Carstairs, trustee of Doveton to address the ceremony a few minutes later. We must also express our heartfelt gratitude, who is now with us on the stage, for his donation in helping the setting up of the school 20 years ago and his continuous support throughout the years. At the same time, the school wishes to thank the representatives from our various stakeholders for their loyal and non‐stop assistance to the development of the school. They are, Correspondent, , Principal of our school, Mr.CC Or, Chairman of 40th Anniversary Organizing Committee and Mr J.D.Bornshin, with whoms assistance we would have never touched this feat
In the past years, under the guidance, the school follows a vision of touching hearts and carries out a mission of whole‐person education. Our students are therefore nurtured in a school environment of adequate knowledge‐learning opportunities and are well prepared for serving people and community. Today, the school feels warm because of the coming back of many old students. Many of them,
