Head onto the A541 and continue onto Mold Roadentering Gwersyllt and Caergwrle At traffic signals turn right onto the A550 (signposted Queensferry) At T-junction turn left onto Wrexham Road- A550 Continue forward onto the A550 into Penyffordd At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A550 (signposted Queensferry, Chester A55) At Wrexham Road Interchange roundabout take the 2nd exit, then merge onto the A55 (signposted Conwy) At junction 34 bear left, then merge onto the A55(signposted Conwy A55, Mold A494) Exit the A55 at junction 20 at the Rhos-on-Sea Interchange Bear right onto Princes Drive- B5113 At traffic lights turn right onto Conway Road- A547 (signposted Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy A55) Take the next left onto Kings Road (B5113) and get in the right lane Follow the Brown Tourist Signs uphill to the Welsh Mountain Zoo (approximately ½ a mile)

Zoo Education
The Welsh Mountain Zoo is part of the Zoological Society of Wales, a non-profit making organisation. Its aim is to inform and educate about wildlife and conservation.
The Zoo is set in 37 acres of woodland and beautiful gardens, overlooking the coastline and mountains of North Wales. The Zoo represents a unique living resource to stimulate pupils and students of all ages. The Zoo offers a first class FREE education service.
Education Department
The Education Service is staffed by qualified educators who cater for all ages and abilities. The Education Programme is regularly updated to accomodate all ages and abilities from nursery to KS4 and college students to OAP’s.
Our popular National Curriculum linked Learning Sessions add an extra dimension to your visit. We are also happy to arrange Workshops on any subject to fit in with your needs.
