Were the Middle Ages really dark or golden? There are many opinions and reasons arguing for both sides, but I concluded on one: the Middle Ages was also known as the Golden Era.
There are many reasons why the Middle Ages are qualified to be called the Golden Era. Yes, there were some struggles, such as slaves and robbers on the streets, but all the good things outweigh the bad. For example, available farmland tripled. That lead to the more food, so more people had things to eat and less people starved.
