One proposition incorporated in the U.S. constitution is the separation of powers. First, the legislative branch consists of house and senate and its main purpose is to execute laws for the United States. Furthermore, the congress has the power to impeach both the executive and judiciary. For example, if the president have committed a crime while they are in office legislative branch have the power to impeach the president. During the time of the presidency the house of representative have impeached two president till now, Bill Clinton and Andrew Jackson. Moreover, congress also have the power to revoke a presidential veto and can impact the establishment of the legal branch. Supreme court judge is chosen by the president with the consent of the senate.
