empires have the same beliefs system, but the name of their Gods was different. For example, Athena, God of Wisdom, was her Greece name. Rome God of Wisdom was named Minerva. Even though the God names are different, ceremonies and processions still being celebrated in the name and honor of the Gods. People held sacrifices ritual to praise to their Gods. The Greeks believed that religions existed just to benefits them in their life while the Romans sought to achieve harmony with their Gods to learn more about the way of life. Romans also use religion to unify their empire, though Greece had religion to a better understanding of why things keep happening as it is. The citizen life just about doing house chores and worshipping the Gods, because they have all kind entertainment throughout their empire. The Romans loved adversity, while the Greeks preferred humor. Chariot races were held everywhere in the empire itself. The Olympic Games where men could participate in to tested their skill and strength are held in Greece, while gladiators who seek for glory fought men and wild beast to the death in the coliseum are held in Rome. Greece’s agora, a market, where citizens would talk about life problems was very similar to the forums in Ancient Romes is the place for people to gather and find their own entertainments. If there was an all out war between ancient Greece and ancient Rome, who knows what would have happened.
But one thing that what we do know is they have a very different culture despite Roman copied Greek civilization. Women freedoms are like hell and heaven in Rome and Greece. Even though they both have similar god and goddess, their name and beliefs system are still different. But the biggest difference between them all is how one empire entertainment contains just sports like our modern day. On the other hand is blood bath and glory for entertainment. As times pass on, culture will evolve. The two Ancient Titans will eventually wither away as their new civilizations grow just like
today.
